Housing & Lettings Assistant – £24,700 pa

We have an exciting opportunity for a new position within a busy Housing Management Team based in Bournemouth. 

 

This would suit anyone looking to start or further their career in Housing and Lettings Management.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting our Housing Management Officers in the preparation of tenancy documents ready for the sign up of new tenants
  • Processing of ending of tenancy notices,
  • Visiting empty properties to carry out inventories and property checks,
  • Organising and undertaking new tenancy property checks,
  • Reconciliation of daily cashing up records,
  • General Administration.

 

Confidence in dealing with customers is essential, you'll be taking phone calls, answering enquiries including through social media and booking appointments for viewings, pre-inspections and property inspections.

 

You should have good organisational and IT skills and will be expected to deliver excellent customer service plus be able to work under pressure to timescales.

 

No previous experience is required as full training will be given along with opportunities to develop in the future, a full driving licence would be essential.

 

The position is full time and permanent, subject to satisfactory references and with a salary of £24,700.00 gross per annum.  The hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm (42.5 hours per week) with the flexibility to work an ad hoc Saturday morning, if required.
