A prestigious Aerospace company is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their busy and expanding engineering facility.
The main scope of the role will be assisting the Systems & Q.A. Manager in the day to day running of the quality department.
Responsibilities:
- Non-Conformances - full investigation with root cause, preventative and corrective actions.
- Job Card Reviews to ensure appropriate completeness of operations.
- Contract Review of repeat parts from a QA perspective.
- Drafting of concession reports
- Update relevant data and equipment records as appropriate
- Support internal audits process as and when required
- Support inspection department as business needs dictate
Key Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Experience of small batch manufacture
- Experience of AS9100 environment or similar quality environment
- Proven track record of detailed machine product inspection in a similar role.
- Appropriate technical machining knowledge
Desirable
- Experience Knowledge of working MRP
- Experience of MS Office products
- Some customer liaison skills
The company carries out a range of activities and manufacturing of products for the aerospace industry and is approved by Leonardo Helicopters.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm & Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm (39 hours)
Salary: £35k per annum
