We are recruiting for a permanent Wiring Assembler at a long established Electronic/Electronic Manufacturer in Blandford.
You will be joining a friendly team, based at their Workshop in Dorset.
The Role:
- Wire stripping, crimping, screw terminal fitting, occasional soldering
- Follow circuit diagram
- Wire all components
- Ensure wiring accuracy according to the circuit diagram
- Accuracy, integrity and neatness are essential
The Person:
- Essential skills:
- Control panel wiring experience is essential;
- You must be able to understand electrical drawings;
- Previous use and experience with hand tools;
- Minor Soldering;
- Attention to detail;
- Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English;
- Excellent attendance levels and attitude;
Hours:
Working hours: 36.5 hours per week
09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday
09:00 to 16:00 Friday
Salary:
£12.21 per hour to start with progression opportunities
Occasional overtime is paid at x1.3 Monday to Friday and
x1.5 at weekends.
Commutable from Bournemouth, Poole, Weymouth, Dorchester, Salisbury, Yeovil.
